A Conversation with Matthew Desmond
Matthew Desmond and LSC President Ronald S. Flagg will discuss how the
COVID-19 pandemic will affect eviction rates across the country.
Desmond is the Maurice P. During Professor of Sociology at Princeton
University where he founded and leads the Eviction Lab. His team has built
the first nationwide database of evictions. Desmond authored the Pulitzer
Prize-winning book Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City (2016).
