Legal Aid and Defender Assn. is seeking volunteer Attorneys to meet with residents at an upcoming Expungement Fair scheduled in Inkster

9:00 am – 2:00 pm

The pro bono attorney will meet with individuals to evaluate them for expungement eligibility and if they have all of the required documents with them, prepare the application to set aside conviction, which they will file and proceed pro se.

Volunteer attorneys will have a 3-hour block of time at minimum. They will provide training on how to evaluate expungement eligibility and how to complete the application.

LADA is partnering with a number of other organizations, and expect to have a law enforcement agency on site to provide free fingerprints for participants at the fair.
