The Eviction Defense Clinic is held in the 36th District Court, Room 417 (on the 4th floor). The clinic is held every:
Monday from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
In 2017, of the more than 32,000 evictions that were filed in Detroit, only about 5% of tenants had an attorney. Your volunteer efforts will allow Lakeshore to provide legal counsel and representation in court to low-income clients who may not otherwise have access to civil legal aid. Training is provided.
