Advice and Counsel volunteers needed for Community Resource Fair
August 18 at Christ the King from 11 am – 3 pm

Advice and Counsel Clinic/Ask the Lawyer opportunity for volunteers to support the Community Resource Fair hosted by the United States Probation Office, Workforce Development Team, Christ the King Parish and Siena Literacy Center on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on the campus of Christ the King Catholic Church, 20800 Grand River, Detroit, MI 48219.

First Step  and Lakeshore Legal Aid will be sharing a table at the fair along with other community organizations and services.

This is a program of the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Michigan under the POWER Act that encourages pro bono legal services to the community. Power Act Brochure
