The Wayne County Third Circuit Court in partnership with the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association invite you to participate in its Mass Admissions Ceremony. Friday, May 14, 2010 Registration: 12:00 - 12:30 Ceremony: 12:30 - 1:30 The Admission Ceremony is one part of the three part process newly-admitted attorneys must follow in order to practice law in Michigan. BEFORE the date of the Admissions Ceremony, ALL new admittees MUST present the Original Examination Notification Letter and the $25 filing fee (cash or money order only) to Wayne County Clerk's Office, Room 201 of the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center. Questions regarding this step in the process should be taken directly to the Clerk's Office: 313/224-0725. AFTER being sworn-in, newly-admitted attorneys must join the State Bar of Michigan before they may practice law. **If you wish to have a personal motion made on your behalf during the Ceremony, email the name and license number of the attorney performing the personal motion for admittance to registration@detroitlawyer.org. Requests for personal motions must be submitted by May 12, 2010. ***Please register only the individual being sworn-in during the Ceremony. While guests are welcome to attend, there is no need to register them in advance. | ||||||||
